Chess club: Affiliated with Success Chess, this chess club meets weekly throughout the school year with chess instructors to learn and practice chess skills.

Homework club: Grades 1-8 work with a dedicated teacher, two days a week, for 45 minutes.

Robotics: Students in grades 6-8 (with exceptions for 5th graders who are familiar and show a lot of interest) work with parents in regular evening meetings. The meetings start with the basics during the training sessions, so no prior knowledge is needed. The meetings/training sessions culminate in one team taking part in the Robotics competition in the fall.

Sports: The 5th through 8th grade students, both boys and girls, have a chance to gather together in a positive social environment and participate in competitive after school sports programs including boys’ flag football, basketball, girls’ softball, volleyball, and track & field. Track and Field is a one day event held at Archbishop Mitty High School. Queen of Apostles students compete against other Diocesan schools and exemplify the “Never Give Up” Attitude.

Yearbook: Students in grades 6-8 work with the Yearbook Moderator to compile the school yearbook. Those students are responsible for taking pictures, writing text and planning the layout of what is always a very successful yearbook.
